DC Wants to hear from You about the New 52

hellyeahsupermanandwonderwoman:

DC Comics Hires Nielsen To Survey Its Readers.

This online one seems only aimed at United States readers, which kind of sucks for us foreigners. :(

So let them know why you picked up the new DCU and what you liked and what you hope to see next. More Superman/Wonder Woman for sure!!!

hellyeahsupermanandwonderwoman:

Sneek Peek of Action # 1 by Grant Morrison and Rags Morales.
A young man that actually seems to embrace and enjoy his powers and what he does? Wow for so long we’ve seen an absolute martyr. That would be a relief to many of us who are tired of Superman sitting on his butt and reacting than being truly proactive. Morrison is bringing real PASSION back into the character it seems.

in February this year, Grant Morrison gave his thoughts about Supermam in an interview where he said;
But I love all the different versions, even the ones that are very different from “All Star Superman.”
I think if I was to do it again, for instance, I’d like to do the early Superman, who just lifts trucks and who can be hurt by a bursting shell. I’d like to do something really interesting with that guy. The young, angry Superman.
The different versions always fascinate me because they all add up to this huge, gigantic, multi-generational story. It’s something quite unique.
“If”. In 2008, he had similar thoughts.
And I wanted to do a story of Superman’s first year in Metropolis when he wasn’t so powerful and he was a bit more of a liberal activist.
And to do that kind of Superman, the big heavy guy who can only pick up trucks and be killed by an exploding shell, you can kind of do that as the first year and see the differences between that guy and the incredibly powerful, self-assured man-god in the main All Star Superman book.
So those are the three stories I came up with and as I say, they were slightly off the main storyline but related to it so I hope to do those when the current workload eases up because as I say I could just keep doing that Superman stuff forever.

Country Boy Life

Portrait/Logo

C.J Charles is a first time author and brigand, he was born very young, and really didn't grow in grace past the age of four years, when his mother assures him he was the perfect gentlemen. He maintains things however went down hill from there.

After a traditional single sex boarding school incarceration consisting of Rugby Running and Rain, he got lost into tertiary education, girls, alcohol and fast cars, before stumbling into selling things.

Finally after a very long time he grew up and started to write in all seriousness. Although both these statements perhaps remains open to debate.

Charles loves story telling in all shapes and forms, and is rarely believed by the people that know him well, even on a good day.

Charles finds that young children, old ladies and animals think he is pretty wonderful. This he argues demonstrates what poor judges of character the aforementioned actually are.

His ambition is to remain a very old man for awfully long time.

I'm amazingly wonderful and everybody loves me - a lot

Hello!

Formspring.me - Ask Me Anything!

Please feel free to say something, no seriously you're already online and it costs nothing but time, and believe me I value that, and in the end time is all we have. Precious time, then death. What can I say - hey you're already special to me.
Opinions. Those in "quotes" belong to other people. Same goes for facts. They are here because they are interesting. At least to me. Not always because I necessarily agree with them. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
Answers. I don't have all the answers. I like to think I have a lot of answers, answers that work for me, but they're probably not for you; like I said, they're mine.
Comment. If I have something to say - and on occasion I feel like saying something, so I do.

About me (Skim readers and fast click stumble button slingers will probably miss this bit - and why shouldn't they, I probably would if I was you.) Since you've been asking, single, no children, no ties. I'm good at... compliments, shopping, second guessing plots lines, eating apples in their entirety, reading books, writing, talking, being the centre of attention, and lifting heavy objects.
The first things people usually notice about me... I'm shaped like a triangle. Broad shoulders - narrow hips, jackets never fit me unless they are tailored. My penchant for hats, and fast cars.
On a typical Friday night... I don't have a typical Friday night, doing something dangerous I suppose, involving hats and fast cars probably Remember : my awesomeness is only surpassed by my humility; while my manners and charm may dazzle, they generally hide the fact I am actually quite dangerous.

Correspondence Mystery People Hey you! Yes you, with the eye catching photo as an Av. connect with me and I will check if it's been pulled off the net, and if this is so, I will automatically assume you're probably a 300lb Nigerian Scammer sitting in an Internet Cafe, Sorry I know that's an assumption of guilt, but this is the internet people. In other cases I'll balance the probabilities - but I'll probably still be suspicious O_o , don't take my cynicism personally.

By all means follow me. Either way tell me what you like and why you like it - I don't care how dissimilar we are, that's never a barrier, rather a beginning to interesting correspondence.
