It may have its roots in Stuttgart but the Singer 911 is steeped in Californian glitz and glamour, through and through. Which is how my rendezvous with the car and its creator, Rob Dickinson, involves a private meeting in a photographic studio in downtown LA.
With four-wheel drive, ABS brakes and traction control, the Jensen Interceptor FF (Ferguson Formula) of 1967 was ahead of its time. Pictured is a 1971 FF Mk2, one of 110 built out of a total FF production run of 320
And All the World...: cat stories
cat stories
i was driving back from campus, and right in the spot in front of our house that i usually park, Buddy was just squatting and sunning himself
Buddy is a tuxedo cat who lives on my street (indoor/outdoor cat) and he was just hunched over in my spot. so i drive up next to him really slowly and i roll down my window and i’m like “buddy move” and he meows at me and this keeps happening until i eventually get out of my car and physically move him so that i can park
That’s cute. This thread is illuminating
“I failed my driving test today for stopping for a cat in the road and making the car behind me slow down. I can’t believe the examiner didn’t want me to stop and splat the cat. The stupid animal just sat in the road and looked ar the car for a 10 seconds or so before wanderring off. £75 down the drain for the test plus £50 for my instructors 2 hours.
Back to cycling again for me.”

The all-new Jensen Interceptor will be designed, engineered and hand-built in Britain by the low volume automotive specialists, CPP Global Holdings. The new Jensen Interceptor is a thoroughly modern interpretation of the four-seat grand tourer original built between 1966 and 1976, and is based on an all-new aluminium chassis and handcrafted aluminium body. The public unveiling of the Interceptor is planned for late 2012, with deliveries to customers beginning in 2014.
